2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Carbon Fiber Review – The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is one of the most insane muscle cars at any time produced but SpeedKore has made the decision it isn’t extreme enough.
The Wisconsin-based business has introduced plans to present a new version at SEMA that has been equipped with a collection of carbon fiber body panels to reduce weight. Little is known about the vehicle at this time but the pictures show the car may have a special painting job that features red accents and revealed carbon fiber.
This isn’t the company’s first foray into carbon fiber Challengers as SpeedKore formerly supplied SK10 Hellcat. Creation was limited to 10 units and the car’s overall body was designed from prepreg autoclaved carbon fiber which allowed the model to weigh up “hundreds of pounds” under a standard Challenger Hellcat.
The changes didn’t stop there as the car’s supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine was upgraded to produce up to 1,100 hp (820 kW). This is a massive boost of 393 hp (293 kW) over the standard model which develops a presently impressive 707 hp (527 kW). Other changes integrated a Katzkin leather interior, a Baer braking system, and the installation of HRE wheels.
